Philip Kouns

Philip Kouns began as the Senior Minister of The Bridge on May 6, 2018. He and his wife of 52 years, Marcia Keister Kouns, are the parents of 2 sons, Christopher (Tammy) and Jason (Kristy). They have 4 grandchildren (Eli, Cole, Caden and Mazie). Phil is a graduate of Point University (Atlanta Christian College) with a BS in Christian Education and Argosy University with a MA in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. He is a National Board Certified therapist and specializes in childhood trauma as an LAPC. Phil has ministered to churches in Georgia, Florida and Alabama in the areas of Lead Pastor, Youth Minister and Christian Education. He has been working with child victims of physical/sexual abuse and in the field of child advocacy for 40 years and prior to joining the Ministry Team at The Bridge , Phil served the past 12 years as Chief Operating Officer of the Christian City Children’s Village. Phil and Marcia also have 2 dogs (Gracie Ann and Marley), love to travel in the Northeast, and love winter weather! Phil is most happy when he’s with his family, engaged in church activities, watching Clemson football, University of KY basketball, and he’s is a big fan of Appalachian clogging.


Greg Lee

Greg Lee is our associate minister. He resides in Stockbridge, Ga with his bride of 34 years Pam. He has two daughters, Tracee and Kristen, and one grandson Gauge. He has two other children, a black Lab named Bailey and a Beagle named Maggie. Greg is a 2006 graduate of Point University with a B.S. in Biblical Studies and a minor in Youth Ministry. Greg went on to attain his M.A. degree in Youth Ministry Leadership from Huntington University in Huntington, IN, in 2013. In his spare time, he enjoys reading and spending time with his family.


Joanne Avery

Joanne Avery is our office administrator. Her home is located in Ellenwood, Ga where she has lived for 47 years. She has one daughter and one grandson. She has been a member of The Bridge for 36 years. On her personal time she enjoys getting together with family and crossword puzzles.
